The Stars Led Me To You
By: Rowan Fiscal

The stars remember what the heart forgets.

Clara Palacios just wanted to take a risk on love before senior year slipped away. Then she met Ulises “Uli” Montes on the beach near Seladora Isle, and everything changed. Their connection? Instant. Intense. Like they’d known each other forever.

Clara and Uli never meant to dig up the past. But when they uncover the legend of a painter and his wife, two souls who died decades ago but swore they’d find each other again, their bond starts to feel like more than just chance. Like something written long before they ever met.

But love isn’t easy when real life is falling apart. Uli is barely holding things together with his mother’s illness, his father's anger that's getting harder to ignore, and the future he’s clinging to is slipping away. And Clara? She doesn’t fit the life his parents expect him to live, no matter how deeply he cares for her.

Then there’s Locke, the sharp-witted ranch hand who makes her laugh and asks nothing of her past. Clara fits without even trying.
No pressure. No pain. Just possibility.

Now, Clara is caught between the boy who feels like a love written in the stars…and the one who makes her feel like she belongs.

The island remembers the love that time tried to bury. But even on Seladora Isle, love must still find its way through the present.
What readers are saying
Great read!
The story was well written, and the storyline was well defined and easy to follow. And although this is the first story I have read from the viewpoint of the main characters; I really enjoyed it. The author although new drew the reader in and kept the reader's interest throughout the story as well as allowing us to feel her main characters many emotions. The story had intrigue, suspense, betrayal, magical, grief, sadness, lost, misunderstandings, and love. I will admit I shed quit a few tears throughout the story. Started and couldn't put it down, the only thing I didn't care for the story doesn't really end just like some cases in real life. I can't wait for the next book. This book is for people that are romantic at heart. -Janie

Clara Palacios is torn between two boys. One feels like destiny written in the stars themselves, and one makes her feel she has a place to belong. And she must make a choice. A painful, impossible choice. Before I get into my review, let me just say the prologue, yes the PROLOGUE, broke me. It takes talent to break me that early on! In a few ways it took me back to when I lost my grandpa to a horrible terminal illness. Going into chapter one eased the brokenness evoked by the prologue. It felt like a breath of fresh air, a brand new beginning. Something we all crave at least once in our lives. Reading this story brought forth so many emotions I had buried for so long and darn it if I'm not seeing my therapist for a month now!
This was an emotional story. Even as l sit writing this, I feel like have so much to reflect on. I would absolutely recommend this bittersweet five star read.
